Getting started
Find a page with the command palette
Search permitted navigation and available actions without browsing every menu.
Before you start
Who this is for: Signed-in users with access to the application shell.
- Sign in and select the intended workspace.
- Available commands depend on your role, permissions, and enabled capabilities.
Follow these steps
Open the palette
Press Ctrl+K on Windows or Command+K on macOS. The palette is an application navigation tool. If your browser handles the shortcut instead, return focus to the application and try again after closing any browser dialog.
Search for the destination
Type a page name such as Controls, Policies, or Evidence. The palette matches navigation and action terms, so a short task-related word is often more useful than a long question. Inspect the result label before opening it.
Choose the permitted result
Select the matching item and continue in the destination page. The palette uses role-aware navigation. It cannot grant access to a page hidden by your role or retrieve records from another organization. Check your current workspace when the expected destination is absent.
Use questions only when available
Some accounts see Search or ask and a compliance-question entry. That option depends on the organization's AI capability and your permission. A navigation search remains useful without it. Questions asked inside the application's Compliance Assistant have a different purpose from the public product-help assistant.
What you should see
You reach the intended available page or action and can distinguish navigation search from an enabled AI question flow.
If something doesn’t look right
No suitable result appears
Try the page's visible name, clear the query, or use the sidebar. Confirm that your role permits the destination.
The ask option is absent
Ask an administrator whether the relevant AI capability is enabled and allowed for your role. Its absence does not mean ordinary navigation search is broken.
