Review an AI suggestion before applying it
Inspect the proposed fields, supporting sources, and warnings, then apply only what you accept.
Before you start
Who this is for: Users permitted to generate and apply AI suggestions in an enabled workspace.
- Confirm the organization's AI settings allow the requested capability.
- Open the record or import job that the suggestion will affect.
Follow these steps
Generate in the right context
Use the available AI action on the relevant record or import workflow. Autofill with AI and Analyze with AI serve different tasks. Check the target record, website or other inputs, and organization before requesting a suggestion.
Inspect the proposal
Read each proposed value, rationale, confidence indicator, and cited source where available. Open the source and check that it supports the specific claim. Confidence is a model indicator, not proof that the information is current, applicable, or accurate.
Keep only supported changes
In an autofill panel, clear the selection for any field you do not want written. Fields without supporting sources may be listed as not suggested. Resolve warnings and compare the proposal with information already recorded. For imports, inspect column mappings and Preview mapped rows before accepting the job.
Apply and verify
Choose the action that applies the selected fields, then inspect the resulting record. Check saved values and any review or audit information available to your role. An applied suggestion does not itself approve evidence, publish a policy, accept a risk, or complete another workflow's decision.
What you should see
Only the reviewed selections are applied, or unsupported suggestions are left unapplied for further investigation.
If something doesn’t look right
Generate is available but Apply is disabled
Generation and application can require different permissions. Ask an administrator to check the capability and your role.
No supported suggestions appear
Provide better source context or complete the information manually. Do not convert missing source evidence into an invented value.
A cited source contradicts the proposal
Leave that field unselected and use the verified information through the normal editing process.
