Workspace & daily work

Find and follow assigned tasks

Prioritize your work, inspect linked context, and verify completion in the workflow that owns it.

Before you start

Who this is for: Contributors and operators with task or work-feed access.

  • Select the organization where the work was assigned.
  • Know whether you need to execute work or make an approval decision.

Follow these steps

  1. Choose the right work view

Open My work and choose Assigned to me for execution work or Needs my approval for decisions waiting on you. All shows the work visible to your account. Use the work-type filter and urgency lanes to focus on the next item.

  2. Inspect the task register

Open Task register when you need a tabular view. Search titles and filter Status or Priority. Review the assignee, due date, and Linked control. The register includes Open, In progress, Blocked, Completed, and Cancelled states.

  3. Work in the linked context

Open the item's available destination and read its instructions before acting. Evidence, policy, risk, and review assignments have their own supported workflows. Complete the relevant action there and verify its saved result. The reviewed task register is an inspection surface; it does not expose a verified general task-editing form.

  4. Coordinate changes and check progress

If the task needs reassignment, a due-date change, or a status update that has no available control, contact its owner or administrator with the task title and reason. Recheck the register after the supported change. A read notification or completed upload does not by itself establish completion of the assigned task.

What you should see

You can identify your assigned work, reach its context, and distinguish actual completion from a pending administrative update.

If something doesn’t look right

The task is missing

Clear work-type and status filters, switch to the appropriate work view, and confirm the workspace and assignee.

The due date cannot be changed

Assignee access does not necessarily grant reassignment or scheduling rights. Ask the task owner or administrator.

An approval remains after execution

Use Needs my approval and inspect the underlying review; execution and approval are separate work items.
