Getting started
Complete your first evidence request
Read the request, supply the right version, and check that the submission reaches its reviewer.
Before you start
Who this is for: Assigned contributors with permission to create or submit evidence.
- Open the request in the correct organization.
- Have the requested file, link, or text and confirm its population and time period.
Follow these steps
Read the request
Open the assignment from My work, its notification, or the evidence request link. Review the title, instructions, due date, source control or test, and any scope information. Ask the requester about unclear coverage before supplying a document that addresses a different period.
Choose how to supply evidence
Use Add evidence to create a new artifact for the request, or reuse an existing evidence version when the request offers that action. Select the exact version that supports the request. An existing document's title alone does not prove it is current or covers the requested population.
Complete and submit the artifact
Provide a useful title and description, choose the evidence type, and supply the required file, URL, or content. Save through the request's workflow. Watch for a message that the artifact was saved but attachment failed; retry that attachment rather than uploading duplicate copies.
Check the recorded submission
Return to the request and verify that the intended evidence version appears. Read its submission and review state. Independent artifact approval and requirement acceptance may still be pending. If a reviewer requests a correction, follow the feedback and supply the corrected version.
What you should see
The request contains the evidence version you intended to submit, with its review state visible.
If something doesn’t look right
You can view but cannot submit
Ask the requester or administrator to verify your assignment and evidence permissions.
An upload exists but the request is empty
Use Retry attachment if offered and inspect Open saved artifact. A stored file alone is not confirmation of a linked submission.
