Connections
Find an available integration
Check a provider’s permissions, available data, and setup options before connecting it.
Before you start
Who this is for: Users with integration-read access; administrators configure connections.
- Select the organization that should receive provider data.
- Identify the provider account and the business purpose of collecting its data.
Follow these steps
Browse Connections
Open Connections > Catalog. Search or browse the available providers and open a provider's detail. Also inspect Active connections so you do not start a second setup for an account that is already connected or has a saved draft.
Review the available data
Read Why connect, Permissions, Data families, Resources, and Binding rule. Check which information the connection can collect and how it will be used. A provider appearing in the catalog does not mean that it is already connected or ready to supply your workspace’s tests.
Check the setup option
If setup is available to you, choose Continue to connection setup. Otherwise, ask an administrator to configure the connection. Availability varies by provider and workspace. Read the setup requirements shown for the provider you selected before granting access or planning work that depends on its data.
Confirm readiness with the owner
Before relying on a connection for tests or inventory, check its authorization, selected scope, and recent runs. Ask the connection administrator about unavailable setup or unfinished activation. Keep your current evidence collection process in place until you can see the expected information in the relevant Resguarda view.
What you should see
You understand the provider's advertised scope and whether your workspace has a usable configuration path.
If something doesn’t look right
The provider is absent
Confirm filters and ask support about current availability. Do not assume an unrelated provider or catalog entry supports the same data.
Configuration is unavailable
Ask an administrator to check your configuration permission and whether this provider is available for your workspace.
A catalog capability is not producing data
Inspect the actual connection state, scope, and run history. Catalog presence alone does not establish collection or activation.
